Even though 8m is broken in this video there are still many problems with this run. A single chain is missed at the end of 3-1, a single chain is missed during 3-2 (during the zig-zag). Also, many many chains are missed at the end on the bonus enemies. It is very tricky indeed to keep the momentum up in this section because it is so fast.

This is a full run through ch4 with no known available chains missed. The best ever arcade run nets 236 chains, but makes use of some restricted homing releases which is impossible in prototype mode. Maybe there is a way to make use of a full homing by changing the second half of 4-2 but currently this is unkown. There are actually a total of 241 chains in ch4, but no one has been able to chain them all in either arcade or prototype mode.

A fantastic ch5 run from CCC_Shiner here - getting every known chain in the level. Especially look out for the insanely good boss times, particuarly the 65s snakes effort - amazing! This run drops some bullet eating points from 5-1, but apart from that its just about a perfect run!

This run nets every known available chain. There are two more chains at the end of 1-3 which can be seen, but as of yet no one has figured a way out to chain them. I suspect the bullet eating could be improved 10-20k over this run for a perfect score.
